Grant Athletics Hall of Fame
In order to preserve the heritage and tradition of athletic excellence at Grant High School, the Hall of Fame was created in 2009 to honor the very best in the history of Grant athletics.
This special honor will recognize members of the Grant family who distinguished themselves as outstanding contributors to athletics at Grant High School, and possibly beyond, by demonstrating an ongoing commitment to, and the promotion of, athletic excellence, character values, and good sportsmanship.
Selection Process
Names for nominations may be submitted by anyone for committee review. Nominations are due no later than July 1, each year.
To be approved for induction, the candidate must receive a majority of the votes from the Selection Committee.
To submit a nomination, please use the on-line nomination form BELOW; print out and complete the posted nomination form and send to the Office of Athletics at: Grant High School, 2245 NE 36th Ave, Portland, OR 97212; or e-mail dlewis@pps.net with “Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination” in the subject line.
All nominations must include full name of nominee (while they attended or were affiliated with Grant High School), year of graduation, particular sports, achievements, and the complete contact information of the nominator. Only nominations that include this information and are received on or before July 1 will be considered for that year’s class of inductees.
