Register For Winter Sports

Registration is now open for the 2021-2022 winter sports season.  Please click the clearance tab and follow all of the instructions to be cleared to participate in try-outs on November 15th! All students must be signed up on FamilyID with a current sports physical.

Winter Sports include Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Swimming, Wrestling, Dance & Cheer. 

Updated Spectator Policy


The following information was sent out this week in regards to the new safety measures that will go into effect for visiting a Portland Public School campus.  The new safety measures do include attending after school athletics & activities. Please note: Students who attend athletic events at their school will need to show their student ID but will NOT need to show proof of vaccination.  All visiting students will have to show proof of vaccination card or negative covid test results within 72 hours of the date of event, along with their student ID. Medical and religious exemptions are currently not being accepted. For more information, please see information below.

Extended-Time Visitor (15 minutes or longer on campus)

  • All extended time visitors who are eligible for vaccinations (12 years of age and older) will be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Their record must include the name of the person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, date or dates given, and the name/location of the health care provider or site where the vaccine was administered.
  • Acceptable forms of documentation: 
  • a copy of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease
  • a photo, or scanned copy of the Vaccination Record Card as a separate document; OR
  • Physical or digital documentation of the COVID-19 vaccination from a health care provider
  • All extended time visitors who are eligible for vaccinations (12 years of age and older) but are not fully vaccinated will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID 19 test taken with-in 72-hours prior to their visit to campus.
  • During the school day all extended time visitors must sign-in at the main office and provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID 19 test with-in the prior 72-hours  to the front office staff.
  • Coordinators of afterschool activities including those run under a CUB must attest that extended time visitors are fully vaccinated or a negative COVID 19 test with-in the prior 72-hours and keep records of all visitors participating in the activities.
  • Spectators attending an athletic practice or contest must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID 19 test with-in the prior 72-hours upon entry to the contest/practice.
  • Visitors must wear face coverings at all times while on campus.
  • Visitors must maintain physical distancing requirements to the maximum extent possible.
  • Visitors must practice hand hygiene and wash their hands frequently.
  • Any visitor displaying symptoms or known to have been exposed to COVID-19 must be restricted from school entry.

Refusal, no vaccine card, or no proof of negative COVID test

  • If a visitor does not adhere to these requirements they will need to be asked to wait outdoors to complete their business at the school and/or offered to schedule an appointment where they can be met via video/telephone call.
  • To maintain safety and security, if an otherwise approved visitor seems to be deliberately challenging the procedure or provoking a confrontation, PPS staff and CUB permittees may issue no trespass notice excluding the visitor from PPS property.

Congratulations to our Girls Soccer Team on their 1-0 victory over Sunset on Tuesday earning them a spot in the OSAA 6A Soccer State Championship Game!  Here is information on the game Saturday November 13th, 2021 when we take on Beaverton High School.

Location - Hillsboro Stadium - 4450 NE Century Blvd., Hillsboro, OR, 97214

Gametime - 7:00pm

Tickets and Pricing - Tickets must be purchased in advance online, Tickets will NOT be available at the gate.  Tickets must be purchased from Adults $10, Students $5. Again, digital ticketing is the only way to purchase tickets for this contest.

Parking - It will cost $5 to park at Hillsboro Stadium.  

Seating - We are the home team so we will occupy Sections 8-10, Students will be in Section 10.
