Elle Frazier - All American

Grant High School Women's Soccer player Elle Frazier earned All-American honors for her outstanding play this season.  She will compete on the West team on December 11th in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Elle will compete with her sister Liv next fall in town for the Portland State Women's Soccer Program.  Congrats on this incredible honor.

Congratulations to the following Grant Generals for their All State Soccer Recognition!

Girls Soccer - Elle Frazier (Player of the Year, 1st Team).  Liv Frazier (1st Team).  Caprial Loescher (2nd Team). 

Boys Soccer - Sebastian Rangel (1st Team). Spencer Brown (1st Team).

Updated Spectator Policy

Hello,

Here are the visitors and spectator policy for Portland Public Schools.  These also include all athletic events. Please note: Students who attend athletic events at their school will need to show their student ID but will NOT need to show proof of vaccination.  All visiting students will have to show proof of vaccination card or negative covid test results within 72 hours of the date of event, along with their student ID. Medical and religious exemptions are currently not being accepted. For more information, please see information below.

Extended-Time Visitor (15 minutes or longer on campus)

  • All extended time visitors who are eligible for vaccinations (12 years of age and older) will be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Their record must include the name of the person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, date or dates given, and the name/location of the health care provider or site where the vaccine was administered.
  • Acceptable forms of documentation: 
  • a copy of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease
  • a photo, or scanned copy of the Vaccination Record Card as a separate document; OR
  • Physical or digital documentation of the COVID-19 vaccination from a health care provider
  • All extended time visitors who are eligible for vaccinations (12 years of age and older) but are not fully vaccinated will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID 19 test taken with-in 72-hours prior to their visit to campus.
  • During the school day all extended time visitors must sign-in at the main office and provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID 19 test with-in the prior 72-hours  to the front office staff.
  • Coordinators of afterschool activities including those run under a CUB must attest that extended time visitors are fully vaccinated or a negative COVID 19 test with-in the prior 72-hours and keep records of all visitors participating in the activities.
  • Spectators attending an athletic practice or contest must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID 19 test with-in the prior 72-hours upon entry to the contest/practice.
  • Visitors must wear face coverings at all times while on campus.
  • Visitors must maintain physical distancing requirements to the maximum extent possible.
  • Visitors must practice hand hygiene and wash their hands frequently.
  • Any visitor displaying symptoms or known to have been exposed to COVID-19 must be restricted from school entry.

Refusal, no vaccine card, or no proof of negative COVID test

  • If a visitor does not adhere to these requirements they will need to be asked to wait outdoors to complete their business at the school and/or offered to schedule an appointment where they can be met via video/telephone call.
  • To maintain safety and security, if an otherwise approved visitor seems to be deliberately challenging the procedure or provoking a confrontation, PPS staff and CUB permittees may issue no trespass notice excluding the visitor from PPS property.
